• Age Limit:

To participate in the 2024 HPSC PGT Recruitment, the candidates must be at least 21 years old. On the other hand, a Candidate’s age must not exceed 42 years. The age will be determined on the basis of one particular date, which is August 14, 2024.

Age relaxation for different categories will be available for the reserved candidates. Candidates who belong to the OBC category will get an age relaxation of 03 years for the posts. Candidates who belong to SC/ST communities will get an age relaxation of 05 years.

• Educational Qualification:

The candidates aspiring for the 2024 HPSC PGT Recruitment, must hold a Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university.

HPSC PGT Recruitment Selection Process 2024

The HPSC PGT Recruitment will be completed through a few steps. The steps for the 2024 HPSC PGT Recruitment are as follows:

Screening Test: 

• Mode of the examination will be Offline.

• The duration given to the candidates will be 2 hours.

• There will be 100 Questions in total 

• Each question will carry 1 mark, totaling around 100 marks.

• Question Type will be Objective, aka Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with five options.

• One-fourth (0.25) mark will be deducted for each wrong answer as a negative marking.

• For skipping any question, one-fourth (0.25) mark will be deducted.

Subject Knowledge Test:

• The mode for the examination will be Offline.

• The duration given for the examination will be 3 Hours.

• Total Marks will be 150.

• English will only be available for subjects like Biology, Chemistry, Home Science, Mathematics, and Physics.

• Bilingual (English and Hindi) will be available for subjects like Commerce, Economics, Fine Arts, Geography, History, Music, Physical Education, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology.

• Respective Languages: English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Punjabi
