IGCAR Recruitment Eligibility Criterias 2024

Age Limit –

• The minimum age of the candidate needs to be over 18.

• The upper age limit depending on the post varies.

• For Scientific Officer posts, the applicant needs to be under 50-35 years old, depending on working circumstances.

• For Technical Officers, Nurses & Scientific Assistants the upper age limit is 30 years.

• For Pharmacist & Technician posts, the upper age limit is 25 years.

Educational Qualification –

• For Scientific Officer posts, the candidate must have an MBBS degree from a recognised university in the specific field of that medicine.

• Candidates applying for nurse post must have these qualifications:

12’th standard passed out, Diploma in Nursing, and a valid registration as Nurse from the State or Central Nursing Council of India. B.Sc (Nursing) or Nursing “A” Certificate can also be considered as a valid qualification.

• Individuals applying for the Technician post must at least have 60% in HSC (Science) and 1 year worth course certificate in the relevant field.
