RRB JE Recruitment Eligibility Criterias 2024

Eligibility Criterias are one of the most important pieces of information that the candidates must know beforehand. Age Limit:

The Candidate must be at least 18 years old. The candidate’s maximum age must not exceed 33 years.

Age relaxation for different categories will be available. For OBC candidates age relaxation of 3 years will be available. For SC/ST candidates the age relaxation will be of 5 years. Candidates with physical disability will get an age relaxation of 10 years.

Educational Qualification:

• Junior Engineer (JE): 

A candidate must have a Diploma or Degree in Engineering or relevant field from a recognized university.

• Depot Material Superintendent (DMS): 

Candidates who are applying for this position must have a Diploma or Degree in Engineering from any discipline.

• Junior Engineer (Information Technology): 

Candidates need to have completed PGDCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science),/BCA/B.Tech (IT)/B.Tech (Computer Science),/DOEACC B level course of 3 years or equivalent from a recognized university or institute.

• Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant: 

Interested candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics and Chemistry with a minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.

RRB JE Recruitment Selection Process 

The selection process for the RRB JE Recruitment will happen in 4 steps:

CBT 1: 

This will be the first step. The candidates will have to complete a computer based test.

CBT 2:

This will be the second CBT examination. Clearing this examination will establish the candidate in the selection shortlist.

Document Verification:

In this third step, the candidates will be called for Documentation verification.

Medical Examination:

The final step of the selection process for the recruitment. A medical checkup of the candidate’s health will be taken in this step.
