SSC CGL Recruitment Eligibility Criterias 2024
Candidates must know the Eligibility Criteria before they attempt the application process. Individuals who don’t meet the eligibility criteria will not be able to participate in the examination. Age Limit:
For positions like Auditor, Accountant, Accountant / Junior Accountant, Senior Secretariat Assistant / Upper Division clerks, Tax Assistant, Sub-Inspector
Upper Division Clerk (UDC), the candidates must be at least 18 years old. The maximum age limit on the other hand must not exceed 27 years.
Candidates applying for the posts like Assistant & Inspector posts must be over 18 years and below 32 years.
Candidates aspiring for the Tax Assistant post must be at least 20 years old. The maximum age limit is 27 years.
Candidates attempting for Inspector (Excise Duty), Inspector (Preventive Officer), Inspector (Examiner), Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant/ Superintendent, Inspector of Income Tax, Divisional Accountants, positions must be between 18-30 years.
Candidates aspiring for Assistant Enforcement Officer, Sub-Inspector post must be between 18-30 years.
Candidates aiming for the Junior Statistical Officer post must be over 18 years and under 32 years of age.
Educational Qualification:
For Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer:
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University & CA/CS/MBA/Cost & Management Accountant/Master degree in Commerce and Master in Business Studies.
For Junior Statistical Officer:
The Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline from a well recognised university or must have a minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics in Class 12th financial examination.
For Statistical Investigator Grade II:
Candidates should have a graduation degree from any recognized university with Economics, Statistics or Mathematics as a main subject or Elective Subject.
For Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC):
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institute with at least a year worth of research experience in any recognized university or recognized Research Institute.
For Other Positions:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a well recognised University.
