SSC MTS Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2024

Before applying for the recruitment, the candidates must first know all the Eligibility Criteria for the recruitment. Eligibility criteria are critical for the selection of the candidates. If any of the criteria aren’t met the candidate will not be eligible to participate in this recruitment. The Eligibility Criteria for the MTS Recruitment 2024 are as follows:

• Age Limit:

The candidate applying for the SSC MTS Recruitment, must at least be 18 years old. While the upper age limit is 27 years.

Age relaxation for the candidates from reserved categories is available. The OBC candidates will get an age relaxation of 3 years. On the other hand SC/ST candidates will get an age relaxation of 5 years as per the official guidelines.

• Educational Qualification:

The candidate must have passed the 10’th examination to become eligible for the MTS Recruitment 2024.

• Log into the portal with your SSC registration number & password.

• On the homepage z find and click on the “SSC MTS Recruitment 2024” section.

• You’ll be then redirected to the recruitment page, where you have to click on the option saying “Apply Online SSC MTS 2024”.

• After clicking the apply button, you’ll be redirected to the main application form.

• Fill out the form with appropriate personal & academic details.

• Select your preferred examination center location.

• Upload the required documents with signature.

• Finally submit the application form after paying the application fee. 

• Keep a copy of the submission page for future usages.

SSC MTS Recruitment Selection Process 2024

The selection process for the MTS Recruitment will happen in total total five stapes. These steps are very much important for every candidate so they have to keep this on their mind. The steps are described below:

CBT: 

The candidates will have to complete a CBT or Computer Based Examination. This examination will test candidates’ knowledge & aptitude. Candidates passing this step will move forward to the next step.

PET:

In the second step, the candidates will have to go through a Physical Efficiency Test, to evaluate their working capacity.

PST Exam:

In this step the candidates will have to complete a PST test, which will evaluate their working effectiveness.

Document Verification:

In this step, the candidates will have to come to a document verification, to verify the details & documents the candidates have given during the application process.

Medical Examination:

The final step, the medical examination will wrap up the selection process.

Candidates who clear all these steps will be shortlisted, and featured on the final selection list once it gets published.

SSC MTS Recruitment Exam Details 

The candidate must prepare themselves properly before entering the examination hall. The information given below is expected to help the candidates prepare for the examination.

• The expected date for the MTS Recruitment CBT Exam is being speculated to occur in July – August, 2024.

• The examination mode will be online.

• The examination will consist of subjects like Mathematics, Reasoning, General Awareness & English.

• There will be 90 objective type questions, each carrying 3 marks. Totalling 270 full marks.

• The examination will happen in two stages, stage 1 will have Mathematics & Reasoning. Stage 2 will consist of General Awareness & English.

• There will be no negative marking on the first stage. The second stage will have a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.

• Candidates can choose from 15 languages, Hindi ,English, and 13 other regional languages.

MTS Recruitment 2024 Application Fee

The application fee for different candidates will be of different amounts. The General & OBC candidates will have to pay ₹100 as application fee. The other candidates such as ST/SC/EwS etc are exempted from paying the application fee.
